Our order form is a pre-order rather than a checkout, which surprises people who expect a card field. Here is why, and what the process actually looks like.
The form is a request for a quotation
Submitting it does not create a binding order and does not take payment. It tells us what you want, where it is going and who you are, so we can check availability, verify that the order fits our research-use terms, and price it properly.
What happens next
- We aim to respond within one business day.
- You receive a written quote covering specification, quantity, price and lead time.
- Accepting the quote, and paying any deposit required, forms the contract.
- We dispatch, and you get tracking.
Catalogue quantities
Stocked quantities usually ship within a few business days of a confirmed order.
Bulk and custom quantities
Bulk orders run on a separate written quotation. Unless the quote says otherwise, a 50% deposit begins production, the balance falls due before dispatch, and typical lead time is 10 to 21 business days from receipt of the deposit. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees; if something slips we tell you rather than letting the date pass quietly.
Why quotes expire
A quote holds for the period printed on it, and for 14 days if none is stated. Raw material costs and availability move, and an indefinite quote would just mean a padded one.
A note on returns
Because these are temperature-sensitive research chemicals whose handling we cannot verify once they leave us, all sales are final. If a shipment arrives damaged, is not what you ordered, or fails to meet its Certificate of Analysis, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace or refund it.
