Research use only appears on our labels, our invoices and our order form. It is easy to read past. It should not be, because it defines what we can sell you and what you may lawfully do with it.
What the classification permits
In-vitro laboratory research, carried out in a controlled environment by people trained to handle research chemicals. That is the whole scope.
What it excludes
- Human consumption of any kind
- Veterinary use
- Clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic application
- Cosmetic use
- Resale, relabelling or repackaging for any of the above
Not approved is not the same as not studied
Several compounds in our catalogue appear widely in the published literature. That is why researchers want them. It does not make them approved: none of the products we sell has been evaluated by the FDA, the MHRA, the EMA or any equivalent body for human or animal use, and none is a drug, medicine, supplement or cosmetic.
What we ask of you
When you submit a pre-order you confirm the material is for laboratory research. We may ask for evidence of institutional affiliation or intended use before accepting an order, and we decline orders where we are not satisfied. That is not obstruction: supplying a research chemical to someone who intends to consume it exposes them to real harm and us to real liability.
What you take on
You are responsible for compliance with the law where you are, including the rules on possession, storage, handling and disposal of research chemicals, and for any import licence your country requires.
